- We require 48 hours notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. 100% of the cost of the session, including travel time, will be charged for any appointment cancelled within 48 hours.
- If you cancel your appointment with more than 48 hours notice, you will not be charged for the session and Northern Rivers Speech Pathology will work with you to reschedule the session.
- If Northern Rivers Speech Pathology are required to cancel your session, Northern Rivers Speech Pathology will give you as much notice as possible, and you will not be charged for this session.
- If there are several short notice cancellations (within 48 hoours), we will discuss this with you to ensure you are satisfied with the service you a receiving or support you to transition to another provider if required.
Telehealth Appointments
- The cancellation policy applies to all appointments, including telehealth appointments.
- A minimum 1 business days’ notice is required if a client wishes to convert their face-to-face session to a telehealth session. Telehealth appointments may not always be available at short notice.
Schools-based Therapy
- The cancellation policy applies to all appointments, including school-based therapy.
- It is the responsibility of the client (or parent/carer) to inform NRSP if the client’s therapy session cannot go ahead due school excursions, child absence or a particular school policy restricting visitor.
